I. Purpose and Use
I envision this document to serve as a multi-purpose tool. On one level it will act as a collection of artifacts to present to possible employers as a means of conveying the knowledge that I have gained to this point in my academic career. It is a showcase of my professional development and accomplishments. On another level it will serve as a reflective tool for myself as I learn and grow within this profession. It will show my strengths as well as the areas in which growth is necessary. Learning is a lifelong endeavor, and I will use this portfolio to help me on that path. By the end of my career, I will look back upon this collection of writings and know that I have fulfilled my dream. I have not one purpose for this portfolio but many.
